Dr. Shaun Ohira, D.C. – is a Pearl City High School graduate, attended BYU in Utah where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Ohira then worked as a personal trainer for two years where he logged in over 2,000 sessions trained. While working as a personal trainer, he was preparing to go to medical school, but a serious back injury altered his plans and he decided to go to chiropractic school. He then attended University of Western States where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Ohira approaches chiropractic care with a unique view. He uses his personal training and athletic background in order to help people become and stay pain-free. Dr. Ohira’s main goal is to help families and athletes live a life of wellness free from pain, disease and drug/chemical dependence by setting goal oriented outcomes and focusing on the root of patient conditions
Dr. Ohira has completed additional education in chiropractic pediatrics, personal training, and various soft tissue (massage) techniques.
